Jim was born on December 21, 1943 in Sapulpa, OK. Jim grew up in Sapulpa and during his teenage years moved to Wichita. Jim met the love of his life, Mary Sinclair and they were married for 49 years. Jim enjoyed spending time with his family, woodworking and building a cabin at Beaver Lake, AR.
Preceded in death by his mother, Marie Payne; sister, Carolyn Nixon. Survivors include wife, Mary (Sinclair); daughters, Joyce (Michael) Maurer and Janice Clark; grandchildren, Anthony and Abigail Maurer and Tyler and Trevor Clark; sister, Marian Roberts, all of Wichita.
Rosary vigil will be held 7:00 pm Monday and Funeral Mass 10:00 am Tuesday, both at Christ the King Catholic Church, 4411 W. Maple.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society and Christ the King Church.
