Jerry Evans, age 73 passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022. Jerry was born June 21, 1948. He was a man of few words. He was a member of the Marine Corps and was extremely proud of the country he served. When Jerry was not at work, he was busy in his shop at home working on everybody's vehicles. He had a generous heart and would do anything for anybody. Jerry and his beloved wife Pennie's first date was on New Years Eve at Dearmore's where they danced the night away. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, who brought out his soft side.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents Ralph Evans and Virginia Olsen; and brother Steven Albert Evans.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years Pennie Evans; son Jerry (Lori) Evans II; grandchildren Kasi (Jason) Warren, Kimberly (Dylan) Hatch, Kaleb (Caitie) Evans, Kody (Hunter) Evans; 11 greatgrandchildren; sister Cindy (Don) Carver; and brother Terry (Trudy) Evans.
Visitation will be held 4-8pm Monday, January 31st, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral Service will be held 1pm, Tuesday, February 1st, 2022 at Resthaven Mortuary.
