Carter, Jerry D., 82, retired Wichita Water Works employee passed away October 7, 2013. Jerry was a member of American Legion Riders Post 408 of Derby and a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Dienstbach, Sheila Taylor, Georgana (Randy) Brown, Teresa (Howard) Ball; sister, Mary Montoya; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Visitation is 5 to 7 pm Friday and funeral service is 10:00 Saturday, October 12 at Resthaven Mortuary.
