Jeffery Lee Payne

Known to his cousins and friends as simply Bo, Jeffery had that nickname for many years. In fact, most people who were friends wouldn't have known him otherwise. He was a hardworking man. He worked for many years alongside his father as a Roto Rooter Man, and took over the business when his father passed. He loved doing word search puzzles and was really into watching NASCAR racing on TV. He especially loved going fishing. He was also a great handyman and could fix about anything.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bob Payne.

Jeffery is survived by his mother, Naomi; brother, Allen (Rose) Payne; sister, Kimberly Payne; nieces and nephews, Laura (Jared) Selland and their children, Sawyer, Scout, and Stoney, Sarah & Josh Foster, and Hannah Payne and her children Abigail & Chloe Wantland.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025 from 11:00 am to noon at Hillside Funeral Home West, 2929 West 13th Street North, Wichita, KS 67203. His funeral service will begin at noon at the same location. Committal will take place at 1:30 pm at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 West US Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
