A bright light has gone out and we miss Jan keenly. I loved working with Jan at CHIP Summits. Her happy laugh lightened many a stressful moment.  Her consistent devotion to God, family, and her church were an inspiration. Can't wait for resurrection day!  Dena Guthrie

I thank Jan for all the support she has given to all the CHIP facilitators, etc.  She was such a loving and positive person.  She will be missed by all whose lives she touched.  My prayers are for her loved ones, that God will comfort each one, and that everyone will remember that SHE is fine, safe in the arms of Christ.  It is the ones she left behind that grieve for her presence and we must remember that sorrow lasts for a night, but joy comes in the morning!!

Rest in peace Jan as we wait the coming of the Lord.  As CHIP facilitator's we will miss you and your ideas at the CHIP Summit's.  Our prayers go out to all your family as well.

Jan was a great teacher at WATC.  She gave me a second chance when I was not sure what to do. She was an amazing person, instructor, and friend. Every time I saw her in the halls, she was always smiling and had an encouraging word to say. She will be missed and future nurses will miss out on knowing a great person. 
I am sorry to all of her family for their loss!

Jan, I loved working with you at Wesley Medical Center and can still hear your infectious laugh. We enjoyed sharing about our children together and genuinely cared about one another.  May you rest in the loving arms of our Lord and Savior.  You will be missed by many

Jan we cherish the time we spent with you in OP.  Your smiles and friendship spanned years and miles, and will always be treasured.  May the Lord hold you close and bring you peace.

Jan, we will miss working with you planning CHIP Summits and spending time in prayer asking God to lead in CHIP as we sought to serve our communities. You will always be an inspiration to many because of your strong faith and love for God.  Your journey in life wasn't easy but you held on to God's hand to see you through the hard times and the good times.  We know your family and Michael meant so much to you and they will miss you dearly.  Heaven cannot come soon enough where we will never have to say good-bye and where there will be no more sickness or death.   Come, Lord Jesus, come.

God has truly recieved an angel. RIP Jan. You were a grwat boss and a greater friend.

Jan is blessed to be at rest, but  will be deeply missed. I pray that you will be comforted  and encouraged as you continue on yet a little while longer in this pilgrimage. Jan had such a passion for nurse education and her students.She told me often how much she loved her job and how thankful she was that I hired her. Her heart was full of love for her family and she spoke often of how thankful she was for all of them. She loved teaching and her students. She especially loved planning and celebrating their pinning ceremony. She wanted it to be a meaningful experience and for them to understand how special the profession of nursing was. She loved her Lord God and her faith led her daily where He called her go. She is celebrating freedom from pain in God's kingdom. I will miss her. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Jan was a co-worker of mine at WATC. I'll always remember her as someone who had a PASSION for nursing... and passing that on to the next generation of nurses!  She and I both felt strongly that the students needed to understand WHY we were doing things for patients.
I was also amazed at how healthy Jan lived - I still remember the scrumptious salads she would eat for lunch.  :)  I wish I had 1/5 of the tremendous energy she had!  I know her family will miss her, but I have no doubt she's in the loving arms of her Savior!!!!
