Byrne, Jane B., 93, of Wichita, Kansas passed away peacefully on Sat. Mar. 24, 2018 in Wichita. Jane was born the daughter of Frank and Margaret (Henry) Berger in 1924 in Milwaukee, WI. Jane and Dr. Robert Byrne were united in marriage on June 23, 1945 in Silver Springs, MD. Together they celebrated 70 years of marriage before his passing in 2015. Jane enjoyed bridge, music, dancing, singing, golf and music theater. She was a longtime member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son James R. Byrne, grandson Shawn Willey, brothers Harold Berger and Eugene Berger. Survivors include her loving children Robert Byrne, Jr., Kathleen (Ron Moss deceased), Thomas (Vicki) Byrne, Timothy (Kay) Byrne, Claudia Baker and Mary (Alan) Grassi, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Tuesday March 27, 2018 from 5 to 7pm at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th St. N., Wichita. Mass of Christian burial will be 10am on Wed. Mar. 28, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 1215 N Stratford Ln, Wichita, KS 67206. Memorials can be made to the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
