James Raymond Titus, age 78, retired Yellow Freight truck driver, passed away Friday, September 12, 2014. He was born October 9, 1935 in White Cloud, KS to George and Frances Titus. He married Mary Ann Harris. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by his companion, Santos Chavez-Aldava and his brothers and sisters. Jim is survived by his aunt, Helen Brien, Wichita; sons, Ronald Titus of Arkansas, Jim (Robin) Titus, of Chillicothe, IL; granddaughters, JoAnna (DeAndre) Dunigan, of E. Grand Forks, MN; Amber Mathis and Emmalee Titus, both of Chillicothe, IL; great grandson, ExZavier Dunigan, of E. Grand Forks, MN; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Private family services have been held. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Jim’s name to Susan G. Komen for the Cure, 1148 S. Hillside St., Wichita, KS 67211. Hillside Funeral Home-West is in charge of the arrangements.
