Prentice, James C., 71, retired Boeing Planning Engineer, passed away peacefully at his home on November 7, 2014. James was born to William Clifford and Frances Leona (Clay) Prentice in Kansas City, MO on January 7, 1943. After he graduated from East High in 1962, he went on to serve his country in the U.S. Marines during the Viet Nam War. Preceded in death by his parents; his siblings, William Clifford, Robert and Richard Prentice; granddaughter, Zoey. Survivors: former wife, Martha Prentice; son, Mark Prentice; daughter, Dana Prentice; brother, David (Beth) Prentice; sisters, Frances (Bill) Mason, Judy Baker; 4 grandchildren: Ben, Allison, Bailey, Kaitlyn; 3 great-grandchildren: Carson, Carter, Mason.
