Lovejoy, James E., 99 of Russellville, Ar., formerly of Wichita, KS., went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 in Russellville, Ar. The son of E.L. and Elizabeth Lovejoy, he was born December 12, 1912 in Perry, OK. He married Louise Pinkston on June 26, 1970 in Wichita, Kansas. He was a Tool and Die Machinist with Boeing Aircraft Plant. He was a member of the National Guard Band and several dance bands playing trombone. He was a member of the Central Iowa Hot Rod Assoc., the International Assoc. of Machinists and Aerospace workers and Tralling Squares Club. He attended Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church in Wichita. At 80 he wrote his own autobiography. He enjoyed bowling, coin collecting, photography, travel and sports, being with his family, playing games on his computer even at 99. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Louise, seven children, 60 grandchildren, and one brother Sam Lovejoy and wife Colleen of Nebraska. Visitation will be from Noon to 2 p.m. on Thurs.
