Jacqueline Thompson

86, passed away April 4, 2016. Jacque's love for music showed, she taught piano for over 50 years, and many of Jacque's students went on to receive scholarships. She displayed her creativity in her hobbies including art, sculpture and quilting. She was a graduate of Wichita State University and enjoyed Shocker basketball. Jacque married her husband of 66 years, William Thopmson on Dec. 22, 1949 in Houston, TX. She was known to many as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be missed dearly. She was preceded by her parents Julian and Myrth (Ivy) Perry; sister Myrth Hill. She is survived by her husband, William Thompson; daughter, Julie (Richard) Burel; sons, Brian Thompson and Todd (Jackie) Thompson; grandchildren, Kyle, Brandy, Courteney, and Ashton; and great granddaughter, Ava. Visitation 4-7 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Resthaven Mortuary and Celebration of Life service will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2016 at Faith Christian Church, 2110 W. 45th St. S., Wichita, KS.
