Jack served in the United States Navy where he was a proud veteran. He will be remembered always by cracking a joke, his sense of humor, and his quick wit.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, Robert and Marie Shank; his beloved wife, Audrey; along with his son, Timothy Shank.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie (Jack) Young, Cindy Jennings, Rodney (Yvonne) Shank and Tina (Russell) McKenzie; his grandchildren, Brandi Thurman, Corey Jennings, Amy Jennings, Jason Jennings, Jennifer Shank, Joe Shank, Jeremy Shank, and Lauren Sutton; along with his great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm ~ 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 27, 2025; Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 pm, both at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Entombment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory in the Freedom Mausoleum.
