A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, Jack Pearce left this world on October 2, 2021, at the age of 85.

He was born on July 11, 1936, to Joe and Leta Pearce, in Concordia, Kansas. He spent most of his life in Wichita. In 1954 he graduated from East High School and then attended Wichita State University. He is a member of Chapel Hill United Methodist Church.

Jack is survived by his loving wife, Sharyl; children, Kevin Pearce, Michael Pearce and wife, Deborah; and Meghan Pearce; grandchildren, Samuel and wife, Sierra; Nathaniel; Sarah Parker and husband, Jacob; and Ethan; great-grandson, Steele Pearce.

He is also survived by Melanie, his first wife and mother of his children; sister, Leanna Robl; and nieces Angela Berry and Kristin Matula.

Jack was a hardworking man. Starting in 1956, he began his career in the service station business, eventually growing it into a multi-location enterprise before transitioning into the oil and gas industry. Along the way, he developed a keen sense for commercial real estate and development, which continued through the rest of his life. Throughout his time, he was devoted to developing business partners and friends, which brought him great happiness.

A private service will be handled by Lakeview Funeral Home, in Wichita, Kansas.
