Hartman, J.C., 81, of Wichita, KS. Passed away on Sunday June 25, 2017 in Wichita KS. J.C. was born on June 19, 1936 in Wichita, KS. the son of Clayton and Lucille Hartman. J.C. and Joy were united in marriage in 1956 in Wichita, KS. Together they celebrated 61 years of marriage. J.C. was a retired plumber. He was a member of the Midian Shriners. He was proceeded in death by a son, Jay Clayton. J.C. was survived by his loving wife, Joy Hartman of Wichita; 2 daughters, Janis (Jerry) Eveland of Wichita, and June (Vince) Draper of Wellington, Ks., sister, Jane Rhodes of Derby, KS.; grandchildren, LeAnn (Jeff) Norris, Chris (Amanda) Fullerton, Megan (Brandon) Miller, Amanda (Dustin) Brown, JD (Angie) Eveland, Chris (Shawna) Eveland and 12 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held Wednesday June 28, 2017 from 4-8pm, with family accepting friends from 6-8 pm. Services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2017 at 10:00 am both at DeVorss Flanagan-Hunt Mortuary, 201 S. Hydraulic, Wichita, KS. 67211. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Wichita, Ks. Memorials can be made to The Alzheimer’s Association, 1820 E. Douglas Ave., Wichita, Ks. 67214
