Irene F. White was born on Feb. 3, 1919 to Elmer and Vada (Hensley) Brewer in St. Joe, Arkansas. She married her high school sweetheart Russell White on May 4, 1942. Shortly after Russell was discharged from the army, they moved to Wichita where Irene worked at Boeing until she retired. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, knitting, crocheting, writing letters and cards. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Russell and grandson Alan. She is survived by her son Russell (Judy) White of Overland Park, KS; daughter, Lavada (Kerry) Masher of Wichita; brother, Jack Brewer of Benedict, KS; sister, Faye Scott of Harrison, AR; 2 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Private family service was held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
