Harold F Schauf

Schauf, Harold F., 87, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Saturday November 11, 2017 in Wichita. Harold was born the son of Leonard and Minerva Schauf on April 5, 1930 in Garden Plaine, Kansas. Harold and Doris were united in marriage on September 16, 1962 in Udall, Kansas. Harold served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Harold retired from Boeing in 1991 after 42 years. Harold was a proud member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Wichita, he served as a Deacon. He loved his Wichita State Shockers. Survivors include his loving wife; Doris (Waltrip) Schauf of Wichita, children; Kelly (Robert) Mendoza of Derby, Kansas, Steven (Erica) Schauf of Sedgwick, grandchildren; Lindsi and Kyle Berry of Derby, Andrew Schauf, Noah Barner and Elyssa Barner all of Sedgwick and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters; Donna Sherwood and Bonnie Dale. Celebration of Life service will be 10:00 a.m. on Thursday November 16, 2017 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th N., Wichita. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Antioch Missionary Baptist Church.
