Compton, Harold A., 93, Retired Boeing aircraft riveter, passed away August 4, 2011. Harold is preceded in death by son G. Lynn Compton. Survivors include wife of 68 years E. Maxine Compton of Wichita; daughter Mary Ann Compton of Wichita; Siblings Mary Jane Alloway of Wichita; Glenn (Mary Ellen) Compton of Wellington; Esther (Dale) Fornshell of Wichita; Homer (Pat) Compton of Cheney; Earl (Norma) Compton of Cheney; Pete (Nelva) Compton of Wichita; Granddaughter Jamee (Jeremy) Sholtz of Wichita; and great granddaughter Adilynn Sholtz of Wichita. Funeral service will be 10:00 am Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at Martinson Ave. Christian Church. Memorials may be made to the church at 1653 S. Martinson Wichita 67213.
