Bliss, Harold Wayne, 92, loving and beloved father and grandfather, retired Cessna tool & die maker, passed away May 7, 2017. Harold was a United States WWII Army veteran of the Ryukyus Asiatic Theater from 1943-1946, during which he received several medals. As a mechanical mastermind, his true passion was automobiles. Harold never met a stranger or turned away someone in need. He was preceded by parents, Casper and Carrie Bliss; and 10 brothers and sisters. Harold is survived by wife of 68 years, Betty Bliss; children, Beverly (Wesley) Brickley; Rick Reed, Cheri (Greg) Hare, and Bruce (Tammy) Bliss; siblings, Paul Bliss; Robert Bliss, Lawrence Bliss and Eileen Pennick; grandchildren, Chris, Ray, Matthew, Jaymie, Lynn, and Rachael; and 8 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 12, 2017 and Funeral service 10 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 both at Resthaven Mortuary.
