Glenn Hall, 95 passed away unexpectantly at his home on June 7, 2016. Glenn was born on July 29, 1920 in Nardin, OK to Vern and Verna Hall. In 1940 Glenn joined the Oklahoma National Guard, serving for one year. Upon the commencement of World War II he sought a discharge from the Guard and enlisted in the Army Air Corp. He was a WWII veteran having served as a Pilot in the China-Burma-India Theater After being discharged as a 1st lieutenant, he eventually went to work for the FAA as an Air Traffic Controller, retiring after 37 years. On July 9, 1944 he married Margaret Kopperud, the love of his life. He was a member of the Riverside Christian Church. He enjoyed traveling, boating, fifth wheeling, the OU Sooners and spending time with his family. Glenn is survived by his loving wife, Margaret; children Nancy (John) Langley; Terry (Nobella); daughter-in-law, Maria; sister Mary Jean Cox, 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, his son David; sisters, Iola Crow, Delora Williamson and Maxine Hall; and brother Kermit. Funeral services will be held at Riverside Christian on Monday, June 13, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. Visitation will be at the church one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be sent to the Riverside Christian Church.
