On April 3, 1964, Ginger was united in marriage to Lyle Edwin Holtzen in Enid, Oklahoma, and to this union two children were born, Curtis Lyle Holtzen and Stacy Elaine Holtzen.
Ginger taught cosmetology in Enid, where she found great joy teaching her students.
She was a member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Wichita, where she was confirmed. During her free time she enjoyed quilting, gardening, sewing, grocery shopping, and cooking, but most importantly spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Helen Semrad.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Lyle; her children, Curtis Holtzen of Wichita, KS and Stacy Holtzen of Wichita, KS; her siblings, Nancy Sandwick, Cynthia Morris, and Diana Bland; along with her grand dog, Shadow.
Funeral Service will be held 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Wichita.
