Gene E. Owens

Gene E. Owens, 67, of Wichita, Kansas passed away on Sunday, February 12, 2023. Gene was born the son of Eugene and Moonyeen Owens on December 21, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. Gene served 19 years in the United States Army. He worked in plumbing in Wichita for many years. He enjoyed camping, fishing but most of all spending time with her kids, grandkids and great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, spouse, Lisa Owens. Survivors include his daughters, Shauna (Nathaniel) Martinez-Yeak, Dayna Owens, mother of his children, Kimberly Owens, siblings, Corliss (Darrel) Engles, Dale Owens, Kevin (Pam) Owens, Karen (Mike) Mishler, Larry (Samantha) Owens, grandchildren, Jordan Owens, Alivia Owens, Haydin Owens, Michaela Conner and great grandson, Zade Owens. A private family gathering will be held.
