Gene Arthur Duncan, age 52, passed away on Monday, July 24, 2023. He was born December 19, 1970 to Terral Gene Duncan and Virginia Lee (Lewis) Duncan in Wichita, Kansas. Gene was a devoted and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be dearly missed.
Gene worked many years in the aircraft industry and owned his own business. He was a proud owner of a 69 Nova. He enjoyed the outdoors; was an avid fisherman and hunter. Above all, Gene loved his family and was always present at his boys' activities.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents; father, Terral Duncan; stepdad, Herbert Lawrence; brother, Troy Duncan; and aunt, Bonnie Duncan.
Gene is survived by his mother, Virginia Lawrence; loving wife, Laura Duncan; sons, Derek Miller-Duncan (Krystyn Miller-Duncan), Terral Duncan (Amber Duncan), Joseph Duncan, and Damon Duncan (Alexandra Tolbert); grandchildren, Jayce Miller-Duncan, Blayne Miller-Duncan, Novaleigh Miller-Duncan, and baby Gene Duncan; sister, Cheryl Orme (Steve Orme); brother, Patrick Duncan (Maria Duncan); uncle, Loren Duncan; and cousin, Loren Duncan Jr.
Celebration of Life Service for Gene will be held 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N, Wichita, Kansas 67206. Burial will take place at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Gethsemane at a later date.
