82, passed away March 14, 2017. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him. Gary served as a US Marine in the Korean War and he retired after 20 years as a security officer at St. Joseph Hospital. He was a little league baseball coach to his sons, enjoyed yardwork, loved dogs, spending time with his family, and just celebrated his 50th Wedding Anniversary with his wife, Kay. Gary was a gentle and giving man with a big heart and smile. He welcomed everyone he encountered and he never met a stranger. He was preceded in death by parents, Houston and Myrtle Moore; brothers, Vernon, Charles, Don, and Jim Moore. Gary is survived by his wife, Kathlyn "Kay" (Bock); sons, Greg (Angie) and Brian Moore; grandchildren, Nathan, Madeline, Olivia Moore and Rian Gallagher; sister, Doris Culp, and beloved dog, Boots. Visitation 6-8 p.m. Fri., March 17, and Funeral Service 10 a.m. Sat., March 18, 2017 both at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kansas Humane Society.
