Gary Alan Lahar

Lahar, Gary Alan, 57, boys camp counselor passed away January 16, 2014. “He was a wonderful man, husband, father, brother and mentor to many.” Gary is survived by his wife, Sandra S. Lahar; son, Garrett A. (Brandi) Lahar; daughter, Terra R. (Jerry Sullivan) Lahar; father, Donald David Boeken; mother, Betty Ruth Boeken Lahar; adopted father, Bill E. Lahar; brothers, Bill (Barbara) Lahar, Don (Cherry) Lahar, Richard (Catherine) Lahar; sister, Karen (Jim) Carney; grandchildren, Avelyn and Alayna Lahar, Tyler, Shelby, Zander, Travis Nicholson; nieces, aunts, uncles cousins and friends. Visitation is Sunday 3 to 8 pm with family receiving friends 4 to 5 pm at Resthaven Mortuary. Funeral service is 11:00 am Monday, Jan. 20 at Westwood Presbyterian Church. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Westwood Presbyterian Church.
