On Friday, July 16, 2021, Gail Christine (Doty) Bradford passed away at the age of 67. Born January 1, 1954 in Wichita, KS to Paul and Vera Doty, Gail was the youngest of 10 siblings. After meeting and marrying her handsome airman Dave in 1973, she had 3 children with him. They spent most of their married life in Colorado, where Gail worked in banking. They enjoyed their church, camping, bike riding and raising their family. In 2015, Dave and Gail moved to South Carolina to enjoy retirement by the beach. After Dave’s passing in 2018, she returned to Kansas to be closer to family.
Gail was an avid reader with a gift for baking; her chocolate chip cookies were legendary!
Her favorite color was red, and she loved spending time with Dave, her kids, and her grandkids. Gail no longer has to figure out how to live life without Dave; she now gets to spend eternity with him in heaven, praising Jesus.
She is preceded by her husband Dave, to whom she was married almost 45 years, as well her brothers David and Paul. Gail is survived by children Shannon (Jens), Matt (Shelby) and Ashley (Matt); grandchildren Daniel, Abby, Ben, Ellie, Lia, Logan, Amelia, Laney and Olivia; siblings Dolores, Lois, Arline, Jean, Rachel, Dorothy, Nola, and Dallas and numerous other family members and friends.
“I will be with you when you pass through the waters, and when you pass through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. You will not be scorched when you walk through the fire, and the flame will not burn you.”
Isaiah 43:2
