Caldwell, Fred Carroll, Valley Center, KS was born January 20, 1942 in Pawhuska, OK. He passed from this life September 3, 2012 surrounded by his family and friends at the age of 70. Fred was a successful entrepreneur, operating numerous brokerage, appraisal and contracting firms. An avid hunter, Fred recently purchased the St. Anthony School in St. Peters, KS, renovating it into a hunting lodge for his friends & family to enjoy, with the help of his lifelong friend Ray Kramer & hunting companion Tim Mussat. Fred was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Nancy Caldwell, his mother Mildred Smith, Father Leon Caldwell and grandson Troy Caldwell. He is survived by sons Tony & Ty Caldwell, daughter Terri (Bill) Johnson, brothers Cleve (Jaime) Smith & Joe (Nina) Caldwell and Jason 'Jasper' Caldwell, sister Marsha McPherson, grandchildren Brooke, Courtney (Grant), Ashley, Tyler, Nick, Alex, Chris, Kyle, & Kael, and great grandchildren Braylen and Adalynn. Graveside services will be held Saturday September 8th at Resthaven Gardens of Memory at 1:00 PM.
