Frances Elizabeth Hubble, having been preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, David, in 2014; passed away this November 1st, 2022. Frances was born 3/29/52 to Paul S. Marko Sr. and Betty (Ferry) Marko of Warren, Ohio.
Frances was additionally preceded in death by her parents, her brother Paul S. Marko Jr., and his wife Cathy, both of Girard, Ohio. Frances is survived by her sister, Paula Jean (Marko) Hephner of McCallister, Pennsylvania and her family in Wichita, Kansas; sons, Dwight and Steven, Dwight’s wife Lisa (Andrews), their adult children David Hubble and Delenn Hubble, Steven’s wife Kimberly (Greene), Steven’s adult stepdaughters, Lyssa (Moseley)Peraita, Kelly Moseley, and Taylor Moseley, and Steven’s and Kim’s grandchildren, Spencer Peraita (10 y.o.) and Theodore “TeddyBear” Peraita (4 mos. old).
Following graduation from Western Reserve High School in Warren, Ohio in 1970 and his return from a year of service in Vietnam, Frances married David Leroy Hubble of Pittsboro, Indiana, on December 28th, 1970. A beloved homemaker, Frances raised her family in eight different states and across the pond in England for 3 yrs. in the late 70’s, all during her husband’s 20-year career enlistment in the United States Air Force. Upon her husband’s military retirement in 1989, Frances and her family, having lived there previously, chose to make Wichita their home. Frances was periodically employed in retail by companies including C.V.S, Toys-R-Us, K-mart, and A.A.F.E.S. In her free time, she enjoyed cooking, gardening, birdwatching, following KU basketball, talking to every baby and their mother that happened to be in the grocery store with her, and spending time with family, which came to include her two small dogs Auggie and Benny. Frances also came to enjoy regular phone calls both with her brother-in- laws, Dennis Hubble and Dallas Hubble, both of Brownsburg, Indiana and with her Uncle Glenn Love of Hop Bottom, Pennsylvania as well his wife Suzy (Marko) Love before her passing in 2021. Frances deeply cherished, any time spent with her grandchildren or great-grandchildren, all of whom she adored. Frances Elizabeth Hubble was a woman whose personality and spirit simply dwarfed her 4’11” stature. She took deep pride in her family while deeply caring for those in her life. She will be missed by all those who knew and those who loved her.
A visitation will be held from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM, Thursday, November 10, 2022, at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E. 13th Street N., Wichita, Kansas 67206.
There will be a private family only committal service for Frances.
