Forrest attended Derby High School, Derby, KS, where he graduated in 1971. After high-school, he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Deborah Cheshier, on April 21, 1973, in Wichita, Kansas.
Forrest worked at Boeing and Spirit Aircraft for close to 40 years where he worked in tooling as a jig builder. During his free time, he enjoyed race cars, going to the lake, camping, fishing, traveling to Las Vegas with his family, and having a nice cold beer.
He is preceded in death by: his parents, Mohler and Doris; along with his brother, George Cotten.
He is survived by: his wife, Deborah of 51 years; his children, Brandy (Kelly) Cleaton, Chris (Stephanie) Cotten, and Amanda (Kevin) Kennedy; his siblings, Patricia Alley, Larry Cotten, and Rick Cotten; along with his grandchildren, Rylee, Aubree, Rhiannon, Emily, Chase, Kirra, Elena, Reagan, and Arya.
Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209. Visitation & Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service.
