Florence (Garcia) Phillips, passed away peacefully on February 5, 2014 at the age of 89 . She was born in Liberal Kansas, March 3, 1924. She married Ivan Phillips in 1947 and moved to Wichita in 1954. She worked for many years for the American Red Cross and attended Wichita Baptist Tabernacle. She is survived by her two sons and their wives, Mark (Roz) and Gary (Bernadette) Phillips, two brothers, Tony and Chris (Marilyn) Garcia and two grand-children, Christopher (Dora) and Jennifer Phillips and a great-grand child Adrian. Arrangements are being made by Resthaven Mortuary. A private service will be held for the family February 12, 1:00pm.
