Spangler, Ethel M., 89, homemaker, passed away Wednesday, May 25, 2011. Viewing is Monday 3 to 8 pm and funeral services are 1:00 pm Tuesday at Resthaven Mortuary Chapel. She was preceded in death by her husband Frank W. Spangler; children Ronald Spangler, Karen Harper and Danny Spangler. Survivors are son Gary Spangler of Wichita; daughters Terry Dear of Wichita, Susan Robinson of Clay Center; daughter-in-law Jan Spangler; son-in-law Gary Harper; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren; sister Sina (Keith) Wilcox of Burns. Memorials in lieu of flowers may be sent to First United Methodist Church TV ministry, 330 N. Broadway, Wichita, KS 67201 or to a charity of your choice. A special thank you from the family to the Lakepoint Nursing Facility for the wonderful care and respect they gave Ethel and to Good Shepherd Hospice in the last few weeks of Ethel’s life.
