Ena G. Burke, 106, retired Field Representative for Social Security went to eternal rest on Monday, January 13, 2014. Ena was born and raised in Danville Kansas. She attended grades 1-6 at Immaculate Conception Parish grade school in Danville and enrolled at Mount Carmel Academy, where she graduated from High School in 1925. Music was very important to her. She loved and enjoyed playing the piano.
Preceded by brother Arnold Burke, nephews Richard and Martin Burke.
Survived by her niece Datha Burke, great-nieces Marta Stewart, and DD Alexander, great-nephews Zane Burke, Vance Burke and Shanan Burke, great- great nieces and nephews Taylor Alexander, Connor Alexander, Chase Stewart, William Stewart, John Patrick Stewart, Robert Stewart, Richard Burke, Brian Burke, Marie Burke, Grace Burke and Hannah Burke.
Rosary, 9:30am, Wednesday, January 15th with Mass of Christian Burial following at 10am both at All Saints Catholic Church. Graveside Service 1pm at Fairview Cemetery in Danville, KS.
