Ellen I. McCoy-Nance

Ellen McCoy-Nance, age 71, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021, at her home in Wichita. She was born on June 25, 1950, the daughter of Roy and Cordelia (Hughes) Jones. On September 15, 2001, she married Allen Nance, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

Ellen is preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Richard and Alford Jones; and grandson, Weston Greenstreet.

Survivors include: husband, Allen; daughters, Tina Teare, Derby and Shannon Schulte, Conway Springs; step-children, Tracy Nance, Web City, MO and Ken (Candace) Nance, Wichita; sister, Jeanie Reddy, Wichita; 8 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 12, at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita. Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 13, at Kansas Veterans Cemetery, 1208 N. College St., Winfield.

A memorial has been established with Antioch Christian Church, 3741 W. 15th St. N., Wichita, KS 67203.
