To Eldon's family & friends...praying God's comfort & guidance for you now & in the future.  Eldon had such a terrific sense of humor and was a good man.  Loved visiting with him at Bud Palmer's. Thankful to have known this remarkable fellow.

After spending 34 years with Garnett Auto Supply in 2 north Wichita locations,I enjoyed Eldon's friendship and patranage.His ever steady pace and mechanical talents were never far from his unique sense of humor. Through many repair project challenges, I never spent a bad minute with Eldon.Too bad there aren't more guys with his manner and style today. He was truly one of a kind.

May God be a comfort to each of you in his passing.

My brother of nearly 75 years of my life will always be here in my memory.

Having met Eldon through Tom Denny and Wayne Steele I wassaddened to hear of his passing.  having just lost my husband in April I can tell you all to remember all the fun you had with your dad, grandpa and great grandpa. To the entire family, Eldon was always one of few words but one who used those words to make you feel at home. He always had some bit of humor that would make me laugh.  He will be missed.

I'm sure going to miss Eldon.  Sometimes a "hello" over the fence resulted in a 45 minute to an hour or more of "shooting the bull " !  He was Mr Fix it! He had a fun sense of humor and always talked of his family.  I knew he loved them dearly.  Goodbye Eldon, you were one of the last of the North End Good guys!

My heart and prayers go out to the entire family of Eldon Schatz.  His daughter Marla is a close friend of mine and what she has shared of him over the years is that he was a decent man and good dad.  I know he will be dearly missed by many.

"Sorry for the loss of Eldon. I will always remember his love of old tractors. Which his nephew Leonard has caught.  Eldon will be missed.  My families prayers and thoughts are with you."

I visited  sometime in the mid seventies, and what I recall the most about Uncle Eldon was his absolute passion for knowing about and fixing pretty much anything mechanical. No dout that passion fueled the drive that made him the owner of a repair business and allowed him to raise a great family. I raise a glass to celebrate his life along with passing my condolences.

Melva, I am so sorry to hear about the loss of your dad. I lost my mom a little over a month ago. We can't physically hold them tight, but our hearts can relive and cherish wonderful memories that will stay with us until we are reunited once again.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I don't really know what to say other than I always thought he was a pretty great guy . You all made me feel like part of the family way back when & i'm so grateful for that .  Even though we've sort of lost touch over the years , i still feel it .  He was one sharp cookie & raised a great family .  Love you all .

I'm sorry to hear of Scooter's passing.  He always had something interesting going on and something humorous to say.  I wish I'd taken his advice.

Our prayers and condolences to all of the family.  I was just talking about Uncle Eldon two days ago.  It was a delight to visit with him and listen to all of his stories.
