LOMAX, EDWIN H. “Ed”, 83, died January 8, 2015. He was born in Wichita on May 6, 1931 to parents Louis M. and Lena V. (Grove) Lomax who proceeded him in death. He lived all his life in Wichita. Survived by wife of 59 years Sara (Goeller), and daughters Melinda “Mindy” Speer and Lesa Lomax, grandchildren Jedediah Speer, Montgomery IL and Meredith Speer, Wichita, and great-grandchildren Jaiden, Bailey, and Cullen, Montgomery, IL. Ed graduated from East High in 1949 and Wichita University in 1955. He was statistician for WSU basketball teams for 54 years and football teams from 1955 to the program’s ending. He retired from Cessna after 34 years as a technical publications editor. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m., on Tues. Jan 13. Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 p.m., both at Lakeview Funeral Home, 12100 E 13th St N, Wichita, KS 67226. In lieu of flowers a memorial to the Kansas Humane Society, c/o Lakeview Funeral Home
