Edna "Pearle" Boyce

Boyce, Edna “Pearle” Stiger, 96, beloved mother and grandmother and faithful child of God died surrounded by family on Tuesday, May 27th. She was born on February 25, 1918 to Jesse and Edna Stiger on the family farm in Kay County, Oklahoma. Pearle was the fifth of seven children and the last surviving child. She married the love of her life, Harlan Boyce, on November 15, 1941 in Braman, Oklahoma in a double wedding with her younger sister, Violet. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Harlan and Lynn Boyce of Wichita; daughter, Marilyn Mowrer, of Folsom, CA; daughter and son-in-law, Bev and Jim McNerney of Wichita; and daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Kent Allen of Edmond, OK. Grandchildren include, Joe Mowrer, Heather Broddle, Richard Mowrer, Kristen Powers, Zac Wachholz, Ryan Boyce, Kylee Francis, Kelly Allen, Kory Allen, J.B. McNerney, and Joe McNerney. Additionally she was a proud great grandmother to seventeen great grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, May 31st at 10:00 a.m. at East Point Church of Christ, 747 N. 127th St. East in Wichita. Kent Allen, son-in-law will be officiating. A memorial has been established with the East Point missions program. Visitation with the family will be at Lakeview Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 to 7:30pm. Interment will be at Lakeview.
