He graduated from Wichita North High School in 1961 and Married the love of his life Kathie on November 3, 1962.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law Judy and Kenny Craft.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years Kathie. His brother Jim (Debbie) Bazzelle. 7 children, John (LeRene) Bazzelle, Ron (Karen) Bazzelle, Kris (Dave) McClure, Jody (Suchada) Bazzelle, Betsy (Darin) Leap, Scott (Katie) Bazzelle, Andy (Traci) Bazzelle. 28 Grandchildren, 19 Great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. A gifted craftsman, and director of operations at The Wichita Children’s home for 14 years. After retirement he became a full-time helper to Kathie with her in home daycare of 53 years. He was a “grandpa” to every child that entered their home. He will be missed by all and loved forever.
A visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 from 9 a.m.- 10 a.m., a funeral service will be held Friday, July 29, 2022 at 10 a.m. both at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 7834 W. 29th St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67205. A graveside will follow the funeral service at Resthaven Gardens of Memory, 11800 W. Highway 54, Wichita, Kansas 67209.
