It's with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dylan, a beloved son, brother, and friend, who left us far too soon. Dylan brought light and energy into every room he entered, commanding attention with his presence, laughter, and love. He was a person who could bring a smile to anyone’s face, especially to his parents, who cherished him dearly. Even when he could be a bit mischievous, Dylan always found a way to brighten the day and bring people together.
As a brother, Dylan was fiercely protective and deeply caring. He was the rock of his siblings, Alexandra, Lexus, and Cresencio, always there to stand up for his family, defend his loved ones, and bring everyone closer. Whether helping resolve disagreements between siblings or offering comfort during difficult times, Dylan was the glue that held his family together. His love, wisdom, and compassion will be forever missed by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
He cherished the time he spent with his grandmother, Christine, who held a special place in his heart. Together, they shared countless memories that shaped his life and values.
Dylan taught his family and friends about resilience, encouraging them to look forward to a brighter future, even in the face of challenges. Throughout his life, Dylan faced his own struggles with unwavering courage, but he never let that stop him from being there for those he loved. His strength and belief in others helped carry them through some of their darkest moments.
As a skilled wrestler, a devoted pet parent, and a loyal friend, Dylan made those around him proud. His bond with his siblings, Alexandra, Lexus, and Cresencio, was unique and full of shared laughter, jokes, and support. He will be missed by numerous family members, uncles, cousins, and all those who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family, including his beloved Shelby, who he cherished deeply.
Dylan leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and strength. Though we say goodbye far too soon, we will honor his memory by taking care of each other and remembering the joy he brought into our lives.
In his honor, we will make sure to carry on his loving spirit—and always make sure Shelby has her phone and wallet before we leave, just as he would have reminded us.
Rest in peace, Dylan. You will always be our light.
A Graveside Memorial Service for Dylan, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, November 2nd, at Lakeview Cemetery in the Garden of Prayer, 12100 East 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas 67206.
