Flores, Dorothy Alice, 85, self-employed beautician and retired activities director at Hillhaven Nursing Home, Manor Care and Senior Services passed away Sept. 28, 2011. Dorothy was preceded in death by her daughter Terry Vredenburg, several brothers and sisters and parents Henry and Minnie Vohs. She is survived by husband Wally Flores; children Tommy (Pat) Smith of Wichita, Ron (Jane) Smith of Valley Center, Jim (Debby) Smith of Goddard, Becky (Ken) Taylor of Wichita, Lisa (Pat) Leeker of Colwich; stepson Richard Flores (companion Carlene) of California; brother Lawrence Vohs of Emporia; 12 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 3 step great-grandchildren and her caregivers Kaycee, Diana, Jessica and Brooke. Rosary 6 p.m. Friday, Sept. 30 and Mass of Christian Burial 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 1 both at Christ The King Catholic Church, 4501 W. Maple, Wichita, KS 67209.
