Doris J. Hembree

Hembree, Doris J., 86, of Wichita, KS passed away peacefully on Thurs. Nov. 6, 2014 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita. Doris was born on Oct. 18, 1928 in Zenda, KS the daughter of John and Edna Gillen. Doris and Lowell Hembree were united in marriage on Mar. 9, 1947 in Wichita. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage. Doris worked many years as a secretary at Commercial Aircraft Products. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who knew her. Proceeded in death by her parents, sister, Barbara Gothard. Survivors include her husband, children, Karen (Robert) Crosby, Lisa (Bart) Lorenz, ex-son-in-law, Steve Hutchison, grandchildren, Bobby (Meghan) Crosby, Carl (Teresa) Hutchison, Matt Hutchison, Dalton Lorenz, Ashton Coon, great-grandchildren, Payton, Trenton and Avery Hutchison, Lyllee Hutchison. Visitation will be held on Mon. Nov. 10, 2014 with family present from 1 to 2 pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Mon.
