Donna Jean Buck, 84, of Olathe, KS, formerly of Wichita, KS passed away Dec. 17, 2018 at Olathe Hospice House. Cremation. Memorial service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Resthaven Gardens of memory, 11800 W. Hwy 54 Wichita, KS, with burial to follow.
Memorial contributions at be made to the American Cancer Society.
Donna was born Oct. 26, 1934 in Iola, KS to Roy and Flossie (Black) Lanferman. She spent sixty years in Wichita and then moved to Olathe in 2017 to be near her daughter. Donna worked as a self-employed manicurist for more than 50 years. She married Carl Buck on Dec. 313, 1975 in Wichita, KS. Donna enjoyed her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren; she was very much the Matriarch of the family. Donna also enjoyed attending music theaters and dinner theaters with family and friends. She will be dearly missed by family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Gracie. Donna is survived by her husband Carl; daughters: Cindy Dillard, FL and Catherine Mullane, Gardner, KS; son, Steven James, Japan; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
