She is preceded in death by her parents Alvin and Charlotte Rivers, husband Charles E. Porter, and grandson Reginald F.H. Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memories companion Philip Blodgett; daughters Charlotte D. Smith and Celina Ehula Porter both of Wichita, Kansas; sister Jelahn Lemon of Kansas City, MO and her brother Dale (Pam) Rivers of Texas; grandchildren Cameron Smith, Keith Smith, Jene'e Dolores Marks, Isaac Charles Robinson, Christine Marie Robinson; four great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday October 22, 2022 at 11 A.M at St. Paul A.M.E, 1756 N. Piatt Ave, Wichita, Kansas 67214 following with graveside at Old Mission Cemetery, 3424 E. 21st St. N., Wichita, Kansas 67208
