71, retired Director of Transportation with Valley Center USD 262, passed away January 8, 2018. Dennis was a retired preacher, foster care provider, Big Brothers/Big Sisters and troubled youth mentor. He was preceded by his parents, Byron and Alma Tracy. Dennis is survived by son, Jeff (Tina) Tracy; daughter, Denise (Terry) Conyers; sisters, Denise (Jake) Hanzlick and Janice (Arnold) Morgan; grandchildren, Dylan Tracy, Maygan (Austin) Hart, Emily Tracy, Hana Tracy, Cooper Tracy, Clay Tracy, Olive Tracy, Autumn Tracy, Teddy Tracy, Russell Tracy, Nathan (Stephanie) Whiteside and Kayla (Shane) Brooks and great-grandchildren, Colt Hart and Kira Whiteside. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday, January 12, 2018 and funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday, January 13, 2018 both at Resthaven Mortuary.
