Debbie was the only high school classmate that I kept in touch with all these years. I have fond memories of dragging Douglas in her blue 57 Chevy. She was also a very sweet, kind person. All the time, every day-can't say that about very many people. She seemed more concerned about other people than herself, even near the end. I can't drive by the KU School of Medicine without thinking of her. The same with LaGallette, Debbie's favorite lunch place.

You have been such an inspiration to me all my life. Such a blessing to have had you in my life. I have so many wonderful memories thanks to you. God bless and rest in peace. I will always love and remember you

Deb was assigned to me to show her the ropes the first day she came to KU to work.  It was called the "buddy" system.  She called me Big Buddy and I called her Little Buddy every time we saw each other.  I was 12 days older than her and she let me know every year.  Her birthday happened to fall the same day as my brothers.  We talked a lot about spiritual things as we were both Christians.  Over the years she went through many struggles but always looked to God for her strength.  I saw her several months ago.  She was such an encouragement to me, rather than the other way around, as it should have been.  A small piece of my life is now gone, but a little buddy is in Heaven.  Jesus and her friends are showing her around. There is hope in our sorrow because she lives on.  I will pray for her family.

We did not know Deb as well as we would of liked, but we did see her as a fighter and a dedicated Christian in her faith.  She will be missed by many members of Goddard United Methodist Church.  She is now at peace and celebrating in heaven with God.  God bless her and her family and friends.  Best wishes.

Aunt Debbie was the light of the family . More than an aunt a best friend confidant and someone we all could count on.  Truley a great loss to everyone who knew her and was touched by her loving heart.  We will miss you greatly .

RIP! My sister in Christ Deb. I have Deb for many many years and I was saddened to hear of her passing. She was a warm, loving, wonderful woman and I will never forget our long talks and made each other laugh when things were down. What a great, beautiful woman . Laughed to hear her laugh and smile, till we get together again, sleep well. And we will see each other sometime soon. You sister in Christ.

RIP, Deb. I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing, she was a wonderful friend and sister ( sister in Christ). I will never forget her beautiful smile and our many many talks. So sorry to hear of Deb's passing. She was such a sweet person. I worked with her at KU and totally enjoyed our many interactions. She always had a smile. Condolences to her family.
