David B. Kunkle, 87, United States Marine Veteran, passed away September 4, 2017. David was a graduate of the University of Louisville and Realtor/Owner of Real Estate Plus. He was an avid reader and enjoyed listening to classical music. David is preceded by son, Nathan Kunkle; father, Nial (Emmy) Kunkle; mother, Lillian Kunkle and brother, Nial Kunkle Jr. He is survived by wife of 60 years, Sue Kunkle; daughter, Karen (Ron Wegerle) Lehl; brother, Richard (Paula) Kunkle ; grandchildren, Stefanie (Nick) Denning, Lindsay (Tony) Garcia, and Braden Lehl; and great grandchildren, Alex Lehl, Lauren Ibarra, Breason Denning, Hudson, Atley, and Emmett Garcia. Memorial service will be 3 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2017 at Resthaven Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Harry Hynes Hospice, 313 S. Market St, Wichita, KS. 67202
