I had the pleasure of working with Dave from the early days of the JPATS program though the victory and on to delivery of the world's best military pilot training system. Dave was responsible for the selection and management of teammates and suppliers. He played a key role in bringing this critical program to Raytheon Aircraft, its employees and the young men and women who train in this aircraft every day. His legacy lives on. On a personal note, I enjoyed working with Dave, but remember a day of golf at WSU in the mist and rain. The JPATS team decided we would relax by playing a round of golf and Dave and I were going to share the golf cart. That's when the fun began, Dave couldn't get the golf cart to move, it had a switch for forward and reverse that didn't appear to be working. So to test it, Dave switched it into reverse and since he didn't have his shoes on(he was in between street and golf shoes) he leaned forward and pushed the accelerator pedal with his hand.....well the switch worked this time and the cart took off, causing Dave's hand to floor the accelerator and off the cart went across the first tee with Dave holding on. Once the cart quit accelerating Dave could get his hand off the accelerator and the cart stopped. That's when Dave started laughing and none of us could quit laughing as the image of Dave and cart screaming across the first tee kept coming back. What a great zest for life. Dave will be missed. To the family I know your loss is acute but rest assured that he will not be forgotten and to me I am thankful for having had the opportunity to know and work with Dave.

My sincere condolences to the Harvey family.  I worked with Dave at Beech in my 1st job after college in the Schedule Compliance group of the Materiel Division.  He was tough as nails on the outside, yet warm and caring inside. He taught me much about being successful in business.  But my favorite memory was teaming with him to win the Beech golf league one year.  We were known as the best sandbaggers in the company.

Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you.

Dave, it was a pleasure working with you; I have to confess, when I started in Materiel (er, Supply Chain Management) you were one that I didn't think I could ever work for; and as it turned out, you became one of my favorites....thank you for your patience and friendship during a stressful time at Beech (er, Raytheon)....

Dave was a wonderful Christian and a great family man. He always put his family first, no matter what. Dave you will be truly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of the family.

The Lord has blessed heaven by receiving David.  A very wise mentor. A blessing to me too have known him.  Wished I would have heeded to his lessons, example, and warnings more...My heart weeps. My prayers to his loving family.

David was my uncle, I loved him like he was my own father. He was always there for me, I will miss him so much! I know he is well now and with Jesus.

I am sorry about David's passing.  I counted it a privilage to visit with him/ you over the past few years. He is in the arms of Jesus now. Charlene with VIV.

I had the pleasure of doing most of Mr. Harvey's CT scans over the past several years. I will surely miss him. He was a well educated and very interesting man who I always enjoyed visiting with and learning from. Although I realize I knew him only because of his battle with cancer, I always looked forward to seeing him and hoping he would win that battle. I'm very grateful for having the opportunity to have been blessed with being a small part of his life and pray for comfort for all of his family. He certainly was a wonderful man I will miss very much!
