68, born February 8, 1948, in Wichita, KS, Darrell was the first child of Evert and Susie Geller. Always outgoing, he made friends easily, a trait that would follow him throughout his life. He met the love of his life, Charline, while he was a paperboy and he would sing to her every morning while throwing papers. After he graduated from Bishop Carroll in 1966, he joined the Reserves and like his father, became a cook. Darrell and Charline were married on February 7, 1970. Darrell opened Geller Plumbing with his father in 1975, that same year Christina was born; Sarah followed six years later. In 1995, he co-founded Foust Geller Building Group, then in 2005, he co-founded S & C Geller Homes with his daughter Sarah. He enjoyed in his work because he could be creative and innovative. He wanted to travel and decided to do so while he was young instead of waiting until retirement. Darrell and Charline traveled to Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Disney World with the family. Later in years, Darrell and Charline drove from coast to coast seeing the nation; from Boston to Seattle and Florida to Arizona. On May 26, God called him home and reunited him with his father, Evert. Darrell was a singer, a dancer, a storyteller, and a joker. He believed in second chances and would do anything for a friend. He was kind, loyal, and loving. He had the biggest heart and a laugh to match. He was the best man, husband, father, and friend. And know that when he left us he was happy and smiling from all the love he gave and was given. He leaves behind his one true love, Charline; his oldest daughter, Christina and son-in-law, Jeff; his youngest daughter, Sarah; and his pals Sooner, Winston, Molly, and Trixie. A Rosary will be held Sun. June 5 at 7:00 PM and a Funeral Mass will be held Mon. June 9 at 10:00 AM both at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.
