Dan G Clodfelter

born to Herbert and Kay Clodfelter on August 14, 1947 in Wichita, KS. He came from a long line of Public City workers, himself being a retiree of The City of Wichita Public Works Dept.

He passed away on March 16, 2022.

Dan is preceded in death by his parents and is survived by his wife, Dorothy Clodfelter, his children James (Kristina) Clodfelter, Tricia Pryor, Courtney (Kyleigh) Clodfelter, Chelsie (Jonathan) Clodfelter, stepsons Joseph Cox, and James (Jessica) Cox, 15 grandchildren, one great grandchild, and siblings Anita Koch, Becky (Rick) Swank, and David Clodfelter. Survived by best friend Arnold May.

Those who knew and loved Dan well knew of his passion for fishing, pool, and spending as much time as he could with his family. His favorite place to be was on his boat on Cheney lake and he was always planning his next family cookout where he made some of the best steaks and fish fry.

Dan served active duty in the United States Air Force. He was also a believer in God. Dan loved music; some of his favorites were: Kansas, the Eagles, and classic country greats like George Strait. He stayed active in many things throughout his life and loved bowling, golfing, and was even a Scout Leader for Boy Scouts of America. He could never pass up a piece of German chocolate cake or a snickers bar. He was unabashed for his love of peanut butter and Mayo sandwiches.

Dan loved to joke and have fun and loved his family fiercely; was always bragging about his kids and grandchildren every chance he got. He always wanted what was best for them whatever path they take.

Dan was a good, genuine, and positive person who left a lasting impact on everyone he ever met. He is deeply missed by all those who love him.
