She grew up in Wichita Kansas and graduated from West High School in 1969. She attended Wichita State University where she earned a degree in Math.
Cyndi was preceded in death by her mother and father Royal David and Virginia Lee Johnson and her beloved niece Amy Beth Boeken.
She is survived by her sister Sheri Johnson, brothers Jeffrey and David “Chip” Johnson, her son Chad Wilson, niece Erin Cox, nephews Michael and Daniel Johnson and a large extended family.
She loved animals, especially her grand-dogs and was happiest in the outdoors. Camping, shooting, cooking, her pets and travel were some of her passions. Cyndi was devoted to and much loved by her family and friends.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in her name to the Humane Society or other animal charity.
A memorial service for Cynthia will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, KS 67209.
