Connie loved her family and friends fiercely, but especially her daughter Becky. She was a hard worker, independent, compassionate, strong, loving, and loyal. She was such a giving person and made her family incredibly proud by becoming the first person in the family to be an organ donor. She never said a mean thing about anyone. She had the best laugh and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was an avid football fan. Her favorite teams were the Chiefs and the Packers, but she would watch any team who was playing. She loved going to the Mexican fiestas, Riverfest, and car shows. She is so loved and will be missed greatly.
Connie is preceded in death by her parents, Joe and Margaret Murillo.
Connie is survived by her daughter, Becky; sisters Anita (Ron) and Delores (Bernie); brother, Michael (Paula); and many nieces and nephews; and a large extended family.
A Rosary Service will be held Thursday, August 15, 2024 at 6:30 PM at Resthaven Mortuary, 11800 W. Hwy 54, Wichita, Ks. A Funeral Mass will occur Friday, August 16, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 861 N. Socora Street, Wichita, Ks. A Graveside Service will immediately follow the Funeral Mass in procession to Resthaven Gardens of Memory, Garden of Love, 11800 West Highway 54, Wichita, Ks.
