Clayton Turner, 65, headed off for his final fishing/hunting trip to the happy hunting grounds in the sky on December 26, 2020. He was born to Kenzy Turner and G. Jean (Schoenhals) Turner on July 15, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas.
Clayton enjoyed being retired and enjoyed hunting and fishing trips, camping at the lake, and sitting around the campfire with a cold beer and good friends. Before retiring he worked at Creekstone Farms in Arkansas City, and prior to that at Terminex in Wichita. He lived a full and rich life. He was married to Beth (Dorman) Turner on July 7, 2007.
Clayton was loved by many and loved all of his friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his father Kenzy Turner, and brother Clinton Turner.
He is survived by his mother Jean Long, loving wife, Beth (Dorman) Turner; sons, Jason (Becky) Turner, and Mason Ruiz; daughter, Samantha (Deven) Kirkendoll; brother, Kendall (Karen) Turner; and grandchildren, Lea (Ricky) Haley, and Liliana Kirkendoll.
Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Resthaven Mortuary. A memorial celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. also at Resthaven Mortuary. Please dress casually as that is what Clayton would have wanted.

Make sure that you note that the donation is in memory of Clayton Turner and that you want your funds directed to teaching kids how to fish.
