Clarice graduated from Macomb High School as valedictorian, attended business school in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and then worked for an attorney in Shawnee. Clarice enjoyed playing bridge, bowling, teaching Sunday school, playing piano, spending time with her grandchildren, going to her farm in Oklahoma, attending WSU basketball, baseball and volleyball games, and traveling extensively with her husband Wayne, family, and friends. Her love and generous spirit will continue on in all of our hearts and memories. She was truly a beautiful person, and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ina Oplinger; husband, Wayne Brown; brother, Ted Albert Oplinger; and grandson, Benjamin Keel.
Clarice is survived by her son, Keith Russell (Mary Kay) Brown of Norman, Oklahoma; daughter, Lee Ann Gravenstein of Wichita; grandchildren, Kalen Hoffman, Laura Brown, Amy Brown, Julie Keel, and Kelly Cabreros; great-grandchildren, Adria Brown, Colin Brown, Eva Brown, Liam Brown, Hayden Kneifel-Coker, Bryndon Cabreros, Jackson Rhys Cabreros, Austen Cael Cabreros, Declan Cabreros, Silas Keel, Zachary Keel, Lydia Keel and Micah Keel.
Per Clarice's wishes, there will be no services held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Clarice's memory can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
